1.what for 和 how come都是为什么的意思，两者用在句子的位置不一样
what for一定情况下可以与why互换
why did you go there? =what did you go there for?
一般what for要分开，放在句首和句末 ，而 how come只能单独用在一个句子中，在对话常用，例如：-You got an E in the exam. -how come?
2.whomever不能做定语从句的主语，是做定语从句的宾语，
做定语从句的主语是whoever 或者who
whomever除了可以做定语从句的宾语也可以是宾语从句的宾语
例如：I will not trust whomever they elect(选举）.

3.在这里such that 不是指in that 的意思“这一点上，既然，由于”.
The expense of imported car is likely to be __such that_(=_so expensive that)not enough people will be able to afford it.

such as是“例如”的意思=for example
so that是“所以，以至于”的意思
